How it works

Four steps, and the box is catalogued

The whole point is that you keep your hands on the comics instead of a keyboard.

Photograph the cover

In the browser, on the phone already in your pocket. Nothing to install, nothing to plug in.

It reads the cover

Character, book name, issue number, publisher, year — and a line on why the issue matters, like a first appearance or a famous run. It shows you what it found before anything is saved, so a wrong guess is one tap to fix.

It straightens the shot

The photo is cropped to the edges of the book and de-skewed, so a picture taken at arm's length on a kitchen table still looks square on the shelf.

It files itself

Grouped by character and by book, with the gaps in a run called out — #300–#303, missing #302. Mark the ones that matter as grails or favorites.
